The New Style of Self Defense Training Taking the Nation by Storm

Posted by Guest Author On January - 28 - 2010

For years and years, self defense training was a very slow simple affair constrained to a dojo. Typically, only a constricted response is performed when the students are just lazily punching each other. However, recently created is a new form of self defense training. By getting rid of the old boring traditions, this new form of self defense brings in a kind of training that prepares students for the street.
The basics are simple. These new students go all out instead of just sticking with the basic martial arts horse stance style of training. They realized that real life self defense situations aren’t really like one student calming attacking another. A real life attack would be hard to defend against, random, and violent. The students will wear regular street clothes in order to account for this. The other students get yelled at, screamed at, and attacked in order to truly master self defense.
This kind of self defense training, when done properly, can greatly increase the practically of your practice. The reason is that this type of training most importantyly prepares your mind for the crazy rush of a real fight and teaches you to think on your feet and react quickly. When compared to the old style, this style is a lot better. You will find yourself becoming a much better self defense practitioner, and your skill will increase rapidly.
So when looking for self defense training, make sure you look for a school that offers self defense training in this new style. There are no more fancy techniques, no more uniforms, only the hardcore practice that you can apply immediately in the street. This new type of self defense training is really the only style worth training because it’s that good. It simply blows away all other styles.
